TKM pitched and produced this feature for Maryland Public Television and its natural history flagship program “Outdoors Maryland.” Our story details the efforts of researchers from University of Md. Center for Environmental Science, The State of Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources, and The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution to understand the migrations of whales along the state’s Atlantic coastline so they can better protect these majestic marine mammals.
